As a result of our concern
Graciano is a variety surrounded by a certain mystery and highly appreciated for its character. Our soils and our special climate give this Graciano certain differences from those of other areas. It stands out for its freshness and the variety’s own flavour.

Bright violet colour and powerful aroma of red fruit with a very subtle touch of wood such as toasted almonds and vanilla. On the palate you can feel the explosion of fruit in all its intensity. Sweet and delicate. Smoothness that makes it a rarity among wines made entirely from the Graciano variety.

HISTORY
The history of our winery began in 1956, when a group of small winegrowers from the Lerín area, convinced of the potential of their vineyards, decided to join forces and create a project whose main objective was to produce quality wines, sharing vineyards, working hand in hand and using techniques handed down from father to son since time immemorial, together they founded Bodegas Alconde, which has more than 510 hectares of vineyards in a privileged area of Navarra.

TERRITORY
The vineyards owned by Bodegas Alconde are over 50 years old and sometimes reach a century of existence. They are located in a region with a suitable climate for grape ripening, with cold temperatures in winter and warm in summer. The soils are very poor, chalky, suitable for small yields and with an abundance of pebbles that guarantee humidity to the deepest roots. We make smooth, balanced wines based on Tempranillo, the most traditional variety in the area, together with Garnacha, Graciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
