THE VINEYARD

SUITABLE FOR SILKY WINES

We are in love with the earth, with our soils. An ideal soil and climate to make high quality wines in vineyards facing the sun in la Sarda”.

PLASTER SOILS

Soils are very poor, suitable for small yields. With a calcareous clay component rich in gypsum, they are a sure way for our wines to have a very low acidity and to be so tasty. Stones abound, such as boulders and limestone, which maintain the humidity of the rain for times of drought. When not compacted, these soils allow the roots to deepen, contributing a blow of minerality.

THE SUN OF LA SARDA

Our climate is continental-Mediterranean type, suitable to make wines warmer and more mature than those of the north of Navarra. Soft and balanced wines, friendly and rich thanks to the coolness of the night that helps to retain the acidity and counteract the warmth of the day’s sun. The temperatures are cold in winter and hot in summer, but the difference is a sharp contrast between day and night, so the grapes mature slowly to provide all the aroma, color and sugar that a good wine needs.
